It’s not every day that you hear those two words together, in fact it’s unlikely that they’ve ever been paired up before. However, at last year’s Paris motor show Citroen unveiled a curvaceous and stunning GT concept car that was unlike anything to wear the chevrons yet.

The Citroen GT was first revealed on Sony’s Gran Tourismo 5 and it now seems that the best-looking Citroen ever could be cruising a road near you.
A decision on whether the GT will go into production is due imminently and it’s expected to be a “yes” for a limited production one. If it goes ahead, Frankfurt’s Motor Show in September could see a production-ready model on display and deliveries to the lucky customers could start as soon as next year.
The concept was home to some green-cred electric motors but for production the looks of this Citroen will be backed up with a V8.
Don’t expect to see too many of them though. If they stick to low numbers for production you can expect to drop 1 million-plus Euros on this Citroen. May not see too many around Sussex or even London then but I’m sure a few Parisians will already be itching to get their hands on a genuine French supercar.

[...] know the awesome ones nearly never get made. We can only hope something as amazing looking like the Citroen GT Supercar (yes, a Citroen Supercar) will go into production [...]
